Can Sorted Skin products be used during pregnancy?

Although Sorted Skin has been specifically formulated for sensitive skin, which can often be experienced or heightened during pregnancy, products have not specifically been tested on expectant women, However, our products do not contain any ingredients known to be unsafe or cause reactions during pregnancy.

Can Sorted Skin products be used on infants and children?

Our products have not been tested for use on infants and children. However, we are working on a range of skincare products specifically for babies and children to be launched later in 2022.

What is the difference between prebiotic and probiotic skincare?

Prebiotic ingredients stimulate growth by selectively feeding the pre-existing good bacteria within the skin’s microbiome. This outcompetes and wipes out any bad bacteria, ultimately creating an equilibrium within the skin. 

Probiotics are living strains of bacteria that add to the population of good bacteria. However this can often shorten the shelf-life of a product. 

Are Sorted Skin products vegan?

No animal-derived ingredients are used in any of the Sorted Skin range, meaning every product is 100% suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Are Sorted Skin products cruelty-free?

All of our products are cruelty-free in line with European law and our own values to never test on animals.

Are Sorted Skin products suitable for acne prone skin?

Our 5 in 1 Anti Redness Day Cream SPF50 is ideal for acne prone skin as it conceals blemishes and deals with inflammation and redness. The prebiotic ingredients help to support acne prone skin.

We do have a dedicated oily / acne prone skin range in development, ready to launch later in 2022.

Are Sorted Skin products suitable for sensitive skin?

Every single product in the Sorted Skin range is designed first and foremost for sensitive skin on the face, body and intimate areas. Each of our ranges have its own unique blend of natural essential oils and extracts that are developed to target a specific skin problem.

All products have been dermatologically tested, however we do suggest that people with sensitivity perform a skin patch test with any topical product before use.

Where are Sorted Skin products manufactured?

All of the products are formulated and produced in the UK using the finest prebiotic ingredients. Sorted Skin is committed to using environmentally-friendly and sustainable processes, materials, ingredients and packaging, wherever and whenever possible.

What is the microbiome?
